Our History

Lakeland Lawn Care is a 3rd generation family owned and operated lawn care company.  Lakeland Lawn Care is currently owned by Dan Haupt and managed by his youngest son Michael Haupt.

What was established in 1973 by the late Elroy Haupt as Lakeland Landscape in the small quaint town of Manitowoc WI has evolved into a superior lawn care company the stands out above the rest. Currently servicing most of Northeast Wisconsin, Lakeland Lawn Care is known for their first-rate quality of service and superb customer service, with the small town feel.

In the early years the concentration of the business was landscaping and design. In the 80’s Dan got involved in lawn maintenance and lawn fertilizer programs. As that division of the business continued to grow, Dan started Lakeland Lawn Care in 1990. Since then Lakeland Lawn Care has been providing lawn care services to residential and commercial customers.

Today Lakeland Lawn Care is managed by Michael Haupt. Working for his father at a young age, Mike has learned and inherited great values, excellent work ethic, and a sincere care for his customers. As Mike continues to grow the business in many positive directions he also continues to provide the outstanding service that Lakeland has always been know for.
